Tinkmar Properties LLC was established in 2014 as a family-owned business.
The company’s name is derived from the names of John Hood’s parents, M.L. "Tinker" & Marie Hood.
The proud legacy established by Tinker and Marie is evident in the company’s logo which is a sawmill blade surrounding a baseball, paying homage to Tinker’s love of baseball and acknowledging J.L. Hood Lumber Co., the sawmill founded by Tinker’s father, and John’s namesake, John L. Hood.
Tinkmar Properties LLC invests in real estate in a number of different contexts, including land, timber and mineral rights.
