SM Energy Co. (NYSE: SM) approved an increased quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per share on its common stock outstanding.
The dividend will be payable Nov. 4 to stockholders of record by Oct. 25.
Peyto Exploration & Development
Calgary, Alberta-based Peyto Exploration & Development Corp. (TSX: PEY) confirmed a monthly dividend of CA$0.11 (US$0.08) per common share.
The dividend is payable Oct. 15 to shareholders of record by Sept. 30.
Whitecap Resources

Midstream
NGL Energy
NGL Energy Partners LP (NYSE: NGL) declared a distribution for its 12.806% Class B and 12.716% Class C preferred units.
Class B units will receive a quarterly distribution of $0.8004 and Class C units will receive a quarterly distribution of $0.7947 per unit on Oct. 15 to shareholders of record by Oct. 1.
NGL also declared a quarterly cash distribution for Class D preferred units in the amount of $19.24 million. The distribution will be made Oct. 15 to holders of record Oct. 1.

Argan
Argan Inc.’s (NYSE: AGX) board of directors declared a 25% increase in the quarterly cash dividend from $0.30 to $0.375 per common share.
The dividend will be payable Oct. 31 to stockholders of record by Oct. 23.
