Ovintiv Inc. has named Terri King as a new independent member of its board of directors, effective Jan. 31, the company said in a Jan. 27 press release.
King most recently served as ConocoPhillips’ chief commercial officer and vice president before retiring in 2023. At ConocoPhillips, she held various rules including the company’s president of the Lower 48, president of Europe and North Africa, president of the U.K., and general manager of global production.
"She brings with her a wealth of energy industry and leadership experience that spans three-plus decades around the globe,” Ovintiv Chairman Peter Dea said in the press release. “Terri's insights will be invaluable to our Board as we continue our work to provide sound corporate governance, trusted advice and meaningful stakeholder engagement."
