Forest Oil Corp.

Forest Oil Corp. has retained The Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse to market 120,000 contiguous acres in an emerging oil play in southwest Wyoming through a mid-value negotiated express transaction.

The acreage, in Uinta County, Wyoming, targets the southern Moxa Arch Project horizontal oil play.

The acreage includes long primary lease terms, with at least 80% net revenue interest and targets multiple liquids-rich formations, including the Frontier, Mowry and Dakota. Completed well costs are about $7.5 million, with seismic acquisition permitted.
